Road Trip Weather

While our road trip was amazing and I came home with some incredible finds, the weather left a lot to be desired. It was an overcast, stormy day. The rain held off on our drive down. A large portion of the drive is through wheat (and canola) country.

While it can be a bit boring seeing wheat field after rolling wheat field the terrain does offer one a great view of the sky....which can be amazing especially on a stormy day. You can really see the storm building and moving in. Super fascinating!

The weather held for our visit and some shopping, but broke loose on the drive home. We hit torrential downpours. It was coming down so hard that water was streaming off the windows. Visibility was nearly nonexistent. 

Once we drove out of the storm we were rewarded with a beautiful sight...
