It's that time.....

......of the year when I focus on getting things made for Christmas. My largest project this year is a quilt for my youngest and her husband.

This is the center of the quilt. The star was done using English paper piecing then appliqued to the background using invisible machine applique. Still playing with border ideas.....do I keep it simple.....or do I go for something a bit more complex? Applique? Or maybe a plain border with amazing quilting....like feathers or a floral motif? Lots to think about.
