This is the center of the quilt. The star was done using English paper piecing then appliqued to the background using invisible machine applique. Still playing with border ideas.....do I keep it simple.....or do I go for something a bit more complex? Applique? Or maybe a plain border with amazing quilting....like feathers or a floral motif? Lots to think about.

It's that time.....
......of the year when I focus on getting things made for Christmas. My largest project this year is a quilt for my youngest and her husband.

Along the Forest Path
This is one of my latest new patterns. It's knit from hand spun alpaca wool blend yarn using traditional Estonian lace patterns.
This is one of my favorite patterns to date. I love how soft the yarn is.....and love the halo. The nupps in the body of the scarf are beaded to give them the appearance of flowers on the forest floor. The first two photos show the color accurately. The pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry and Craftsy.
Here's a sneak peak at my latest creation. This one is knit from a hand spun super wash yarn. The pattern is a fun blend of beading, cables, and a touch of lace.
